DSWF Wildlife Artist of the Year is an internationally renowned wildlife art competition and exhibition, which each year attracts entries from some of the most talented artists around the globe, who come together to celebrate the beauty of the natural world. Since its inception in 2008, Wildlife Artist of the Year has raised more than £1.7 million to benefit our conservation work across Africa and Asia.
The David Shepherd Wildlife Artist of the Year competition is considered by many to be the Oscars of the wildlife art world. I have entered the competition for the last several years and was lucky enough to be shortlisted in 2021 with my painting “Locked On’ which is a depiction of the Yellowstone Wapiti pack moving through deep snow.
I am hopeful to be shortlisted again this year (2023) with my two entries “Sumatran Stripes” and “Out on a Limb".
“From dust to Dust”, “Locked On”, “Mousing Foxtrot”, “Sumatran Stripes”, “Out on a Limb”.
